I'm a postdoctoral researcher in theoretical philosophy at Bielefeld University, where I'm a member of Christian Nimtz’s research group. I'm also affiliated with the CRC project Open Texture as a Source of Semantic Creativity.
I received my B.A. and M.A. in philosophy from the University of Milan. I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Nottingham, where I worked under the supervision of Stefano Predelli and Mark Jago, and defended my thesis on meaning attributions in December 2023. During my doctoral studies, I was a visiting researcher at the Institute for Logic, Cognition, Language and Information of the University of the Basque Country, where I worked with Kepa Korta.
My areas of specialisation are the philosophy of language and the philosophy of mind. In the former, I am interested in the challenges that quotational and other hyperintensional contexts pose for compositionality, as well as in more foundational questions concerning meaning and reference. In the latter, my work focuses on intentionality and perception. You can find more about my research here.
I'm also an enthusiastic and passionate teacher. I have taught on various topics within both theoretical and practical philosophy at different universities. Further details about my teaching experience are available here.
